    A built-in toll reader is an electronic device integrated directly into your car’s dashboard or console. Unlike portable devices, it connects directly to your vehicle’s power source. Therefore, you never have to worry about replacing batteries or dealing with bulky windshield mounts.
  • Do I need a specific card to use with Lokatag?
    The device works seamlessly with standard physical toll payment cards used in local SmartTAG lanes. However, you must make sure your card has sufficient balance before entering the highway plaza.
  • What’s the difference between Classic and J Series?
    This specific J Series model fits Japanese cars that come pre-equipped with an electronic toll collection (ETC) slot placeholder whereas the Lokatag Classic is universal for vehicles without an ETC slot. As a result, it makes an excellent retrofit accessory for a clean, factory look.
